1. What Are Tracking Technologies?
Tracking technologies in mobile apps work like cookies on websites. They help us recognize your device and understand how you use Blossum so we can make it better.
The Technologies We Use
Device Identifiers
Unique IDs associated with your mobile device (like IDFA on iOS or GAID on Android). These help us recognize your device without knowing who you are personally.
SDKs (Software Development Kits)
Third-party code integrated into our app to provide specific features like analytics, crash reporting, or attribution tracking.
Local Storage
Data stored on your device to remember your preferences, settings, and activities within the app.
2. Types of Tracking We Use
We use different types of tracking technologies depending on what they're needed for.
Essential Tracking (Required)
These are necessary for Blossum to work properly. You can't disable these because the app wouldn't function without them.
- Secure login: Keeps you logged in safely
- App preferences: Remembers your settings and choices
- Calendar sync: Maintains connections to your calendars
- Session management: Keeps your app session active
Performance & Analytics (Optional)
These help us understand how people use Blossum so we can improve it. You can opt out of these.
- Usage patterns: Which features are used most
- App performance: Load times, crashes, errors
- User flows: How people navigate the app
- Feature effectiveness: What works and what doesn't
Functionality (Optional)
These enable personalized features and remember your preferences across sessions.
- Saved preferences and settings
- Personalized recommendations
- Customized app experience
Advertising & Marketing (Optional)
These help us understand which marketing campaigns are working and deliver relevant content.
- Campaign attribution (how you found us)
- Ad performance tracking
- Marketing effectiveness measurement
Important: We never sell your personal data to advertisers. Marketing tracking is only used to improve our own campaigns.
3. Third-Party Services
We work with a small set of trusted third-party services that help us run Blossum, keep the app stable, and send you useful messages. Here's who we use and why:
Google Analytics for Firebase
What it does: Tracks app usage, crash reports, and performance metrics to help us understand user behavior and fix issues quickly.
What it collects: App usage patterns, device information, interaction data, crash logs.
View Firebase Privacy Policy →
AppsFlyer
What it does: Helps us track marketing campaign effectiveness and understand how users discover Blossum.
What it collects: Device identifier, IP address, app interactions, attribution data.

Sentry (crash reporting & diagnostics)
What it does: aptures crashes, exceptions, performance traces, and related diagnostics so we can find and fix errors quickly.
What it collects: Error/stack trace data, truncated logs, device info (OS, app version, device model), and (in some cases) IP address and timestamps. We do not intentionally send full messages or sensitive content as part of normal crash reports.
Klaviyo
What it does: Powers our email and messaging (e.g., newsletters, transactional emails, and in-app messaging triggers).
What it collects: Email address and name (if provided), message interaction data (opens, clicks), and events we send for segmentation (e.g., account events, purchase or subscription status, limited usage metrics).
Other providers
From time to time we may use additional third-party tools for payments, hosting, security, and customer support. Each provider is listed in our full Privacy Policy with a short description of data they process and links to their policies.
Your control: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any marketing message, change your communication preferences in your account, or opt out via the methods in Section 5. These third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies and our agreements with them. You can opt out of their tracking using the methods described in Section 5.
